WWE RAW 1000
8th August 2012
WWE RAW celebrated its 1000th episode and unveiled lots of new graphics and a new stage! So I spent a short while working on a few techniques to get the stage I really wanted it to look like. I made one stage and put it on my Facebook, only problem was it was pretty poor. So, I went back and started from scratch again, redid all of it and was able to learn quite a lot on the process. I love this stage, especially since the old HD stage was sooooo overused. It was a good stage but seeing it on four different shows every week was just draining. This stage serves a lot more purpose and it can be scaled to fit in different arenas, the amount of LEDs at the side can chance from 2 to like 4 or something...

So yeah, as the pictures above show, A LOT of my time went into learning how to do those damn LED screens... like, about 3 years maybe. I've only just learnt how to make them but nooo way will this be the last time. They are sweet as hell. Unfortunatly, I can't reveal HOW I did them, because that'd put me outta the scene, and we don't want that.
I wouldn't imagine you can see that, but there's LED effects in there too..

It's really strange, but I never seem to work on those ringside additions or the ramp. I noticed it when sifting through my portfolios and then I saw that i've tried before, but never really in Cinema4D. So I just added a small array of lights and BOOM, there they are. There are more but because it's ment to be mid entrance half of them would be off.. No, I'm not animating this stage.... Yet...
It's time to play the game!

How could I do this all and not make the logo! I used a Lightbox... 4 hours later this was the result. (That was a joke by the way... it took about 20mins to render)
And no Lightbox...  Looks tacky.
