Beata Bötcher-Sisak's profile

Remains of a lost world

Budapest is a very developing city. It is "trendy". Nice bars, lots of concerts, cultural events attract mostly the youth to come and visit.
I took a walk in the industrial area from Budafok, which is at the south border of the city. I found closed down factories and emptiness anywhere. The place is a remain and a reminder of the communist era...some kind of a messenger. Dead and alive in the same time.
I had the feeling that it is waiting to be replaced by something new.
