Golden Braces
My work is about discomfort, constraint and face-disorting. I took an inspiration from stomatology theme and especially from braces. I had braces about year and half ago and for me it were the worst 2 years of my life, because I couldn’t smile, eat normally, I had to go to the dentist, who constantly said that I have to wear them about 1 month more, every month, my classmates laughed at me and also I felt awful pain and discomfort all time. So, because all of these familiar feelings I decided to represent my adornment as outside-braces, which raise my nose and lip, what is very uncomfortable (just like the all construction at all) to show my teeth through the plastic “window”.
