The Stuff We Buy...  And Why We Buy It.
The term “retail” covers a pretty broad category but what ties it all together is figuring out why we buy what we buy. Retail can be anything that grabs the senses -- from the typography on a toaster to the candles in a cafe’. The trick is to work with someone who can help you figure out what makes your customers tick. 
COOKIE TEMPTATIONS - Food Branding. Cookie Temptations is a high-end retail brand, specializing in a very select offering of gourmet cookies. Positioned as the “Godiva Chocolates” of baked goods, the brand is offered in high end retail stores, elite gift shops and upscale hotel chains.
OLD ALABAMA GIFT COMPANY - Retail Marketing. Old Alabama is a gift shop specializing on one of a kind gift items from around the region, as well as imported gifts from around the world. They offer a tea room with coffees and teas from exotic locations and their gift registry offers ideas for any occasion. To promote new merchandise and their monthly special events, I created a signature series of ads, flyers and mailers based on short headlines and audience-specific messaging.
GRILLFINITY - Gourmet Grilling Accessories. Gillfinity manufactures grills and grilling accessories for the outdoor industry. Their new gourmet line of accessories is targeted to the “Everyday Pro” in each of us.
BUTTS & WIENERS - Food Branding. BBQ and hot dogs... nothing could be more perfect. Add a name (seasoned with some good ’ole Southern attitude) to the recipe and it’s a project that’s just too tasty to pass up.
PLAYER’S EDGE - Video Game Accessories. An accessory line for Game Zone, Player’s Edge’s series of Power Tools products covers all video gaming systems and are designed to deliver what every player needs... an edge.
D. Ethridge - Retail Marketing. D. Ethridge served the Wiregrass region for decades as its premier ladies clothier. As a way to reach out to new customers the retailer initiated a series of lunch sessions, branded as “Food for Thought” Workshops, where new collections could be viewed prior to them being added to store inventory. These lunches afforded VIP guests one-on-one access to the owner, allowing them to ask questions and receive fashion advice for the latest lines of clothing and accessories.
D. Ethridge - Retail Marketing. As part of its new marketing plan, D. Ethridge offered shoppers a collection of signature branded items. From cosmetics and body care products to bottled water, the D. Ethridge name could be found throughout the store on any number of gift-related items.
TUSCANY DAY SPA - Luxury Spa Services. Tuscany Day Spa’s tag line “A world away from the everyday” says it all. Tuscany offers clients an exotic, peaceful atmosphere and services designed to turn customers into travelers and every workout into a journey of discovery.
TUSCANY DAY SPA - Luxury Spa Services. Tuscany Day Spa’s gift giving is a trip! Designed as a passport and complete with destination stamps serving as pre-paid service coupons, a one-hour vacation is just a gift away.
HUNTIN’ IS GOOD!- Lifestyle Brand. Huntin’ Is Good represents everything that is good about the great outdoors. Working for over a year with owners and vendor groups, I helped develop a series of branded products, marketing materials and special events to help promote the brand and its commitment to preserving the outdoor way of life. The above items are just a few of the ways HIG plans to get its products, and its message, out to the public.
BIG JACK’S - Restaurant Concept Store. A restaurant with a story to tell, Big Jack’s is the result of one man’s search for exotic spices and the world’s best recipes. Serving cuisine from around the world, Big Jack’s small plates and rustic approach to food offer diners a whirlwind tour of global flavors.
NANTZE SPRINGS - Bottled Water. Nantze Springs is a provider of bottled water, with springs located right here in the Dothan area. They offer bottled retail products, as well as bulk products and private label options for business and commercial use.
SUN & SOUL - Tanning Salon & Spa. Sun & Soul is all abut luxury. Their combination of an upscale tanning salon and day spa services are a perfect way to relax and indulge yourself.
GRACEBA TOTAL COMMUNICATIONS - G-Pack Bundled Services. Graceba offers customers fast, affordable and customizable service options. Based on getting what you want fast, G-Pack allows the customer to select services and “mix-n-match” a plan especially for them.
STRAY CATS DUELING PIANO BAR - Grand Opening. Lots of people, two pianos, one mission -- to party all night! Stray Cats is the area’s first ever dueling piano bar, orchestrated for non-stop entertainment and maximum interaction with the crowd.
