StarBirds is a top-down, 2D sci-fi shooter that puts you in control of humanity’s most advanced fighting machine as you fight to save humanity throughout all of space and time.

            The year is 2235, and the human race has started to spread across the galaxy in the quest to find habitable exoplanets. Progress advances rapidly as technology tried to keep up. The tip of the exploration spear is the StarBirds squad. The unmanned StarBird is the apex of technology for the human race, able to travel through hyperspace and equipped with energy weapons and shielding. Built using exotic elements not found on Earth and remotely piloted from an installation inside Earth’s moon, only 3 have been built.

One fateful day, a StarBird fails to respond. Then another. Now you must use the last of the StarBirds to track down the two missing ships and solve the mystery of why they disappeared.

            In classic top-down style, fly your StarBird through a variety of levels, dodging obstacles and enemy fire, shooting down alien ships, and picking up power-ups to boost your offensive and defensive power.

Navigate your StarBird through asteroid fields, open space, and above exoplanets.

Fight off endless waves of deadly alien drones as you race to save humanity.

Power up your weapons and shields with power-ups to turn the tide in battle.
