This evening look was created in Design Studio Womenswear. The look was created on a start to finish basis, which indicates that the design was created from a mere concept and then brought all the way out into production for a final finished product. The overall design was inspired by a Sunset and portrays the color story of a sunset. 

The bottom half of this look features a high-low, box pleated skirt, fully lined, with inner crinoline support. The skirt also features a beaded waistband with center back invisible zipper and hook and eye closure. Gold Cotton Sateen Upholstery fabric was used to construct the skirt. 

For the upper portion of this garment, a flared bodice is featured with a bias bound neck, armhole, and hem, and a keyhole closure at the back. The neck and the hem of the bodice are beaded as well. Ombre chiffon and satin made bias were used to construct the bodice of this garment. 

The dress is fitted to a size 8 dress from. All pattern making and construction was done by myself.
