In the Tatacoa Dessert, water and wind have carved their way through the centuries, leaving behind dunes, gullies, heat, and thirst. Erosion is a giant that leaves its mark on the red and gray earth, where very little grows and water is a treasure.
The shade of a tree resembles the cracks that form in the ground due to the drought.   


This anteater and other species die of thirst and heat as the high temperatures can rise up to 43°.
Mountains and rainstorms surround the tropical dry forest environment; water seems close but it is only a few times a year that it wets the land.
