WHRO Public Media Brand Refresh
Mid year 2016, marketing decided to create new membership brochures and collateral. Since WHRO has no branding identity we decided to refresh the branding beginning with the membership brochure. I began by compiling stock images and rethinking the WHRO "bud" in a new, successful way following design trends of 2016-2017.
I believe illustration is a great medium to use when there is struggle for visibilty among competitors. When done well, illustration is an excellent way to stand out and gain an emotional response from the viewer. To begin, I created concepting around new WHRO "bud" patterns, infographics and illustration using WHRO's broad color palette. In 2017 we will be introducing patterns, additional fonts, illustration, a tagline and a highly creative overall branding campaign later in the year.
