I worked as a Media Specialist for Southwest Tennessee Community College for 5 years working on graphic design, videography, photography, and a myriad of other creative services. Every summer the Distance Education department holds a Summer Institute conference for faculty. It is devoted to enhancing learning through shared ideas and practices as well as through the use of current and emerging technology. The Institute consists of presentations, hands-on sessions, and roundtable discussions that address a broad range of topics of interest to all faculty.

I was tasked each year with taking the basic concepts and focus of the conference and turning it in to a theme that would entice faculty to sign up for sessions and learn about how technology could benefit their classroom instruction, or generally enhance the student experience at the college. I created "save the date" post cards, posters, schedules, flyers, and programs. Later in my career, I began teaching sessions on copyright law. I have provided some examples of different pieces I designed over the years for the conference.
