Electric Forest 2016

I first attended this music festival in 2014 and I truly believe it played a major factor in my career choice. Not only is it filled with art and music, the people who attend are generally the happiest people you will meet. I told myself that this had to be filmed and not in the typical sense, but more focused on the art and people that make up this festival. In 2015, I filmed and produced a recap that you can check out here
One year later after becoming more familiar with cinematography, color grading and producing, I filmed my 2016 recap that had a huge amount of success; tons of awesome messages, comments, and love in general. One of the most touching messages I got from a girl who's boyfriends brother had died recently and I captured the photo they put in the forest in memory of.
I shot with Canon 5D Mark III with a few lenses; Canon 24mm and 100mm. I used a small glide cam for the smooth shots and a mono pod. On the 14hr drive home, I color graded clips the best I could in car and produced the following day to get this up there as soon as possible; I know most people including myself were feeling the post festival blue and this would greatly help.
I will be attending EF 2017 along side the official media team this year due to my work that I put in the following 2 years, and this was ultimately my goal since EF 2014. I'm very blessed for all the support that pushed me to this point. Thank you.

I filmed and produced a video at a place many call home to be looked back on and to relive the feeling that this music festival gives off - love.
