The product that we designed for Riva 1920 is a set consisting of stools and a coffee table in natural cedar. The set was inspired by the nomadic cultures and in particular by the African musical culture. Djembe is the typical drum used by african tribes and now widespread throughout the world.
The table and the stool become iconic elements that imaginatively connect the industrial culture of Brianza and the nomad and tribal populations of middle Africa. Even the domestic scene, in parallel, has a different meaning, becoming a reference to concepts of living far from our own.
