motif – art discovery mobile application
motif is a mobile application made for art experts and novices alike to use as a supplement to their museum experience. Art is easily 'scanned'—or photographed—and the user can immediately access information about any given 2D piece. Users can view their scanning history, favorite pieces, view suggestions, and checkout data on their art preferences collected by the app. Users can also manually set their preferences. Below, I outline each step of the UX/UI design process, including: mind mapping, user personas, user scenarios, user flows, an application map, wireframes, and actual mockups.
