As a part of the design project: Travel Buddy, I took reference from the report Future Traveler Tribes 2030 by the Future Foundation to create personas of the various traveler types. The report gives an interesting insight into the future trends of travel groups and forecasts the six types of travelers, or 'tribes, that will be influential in the future.
The idea was to study the various kinds of solo travelers, their pre, on and post travel rituals and habits and, how that varies depending on the place and duration. The personas were created keeping in mind the traveling behaviors of each these tribes.
