Pattern and repeat is exactly what the title describes, I needed to create a pattern from my drawings and create a repeat. I chose two primary locations, of which were Knole House in Sevenoaks and Dunorland Park in Tunbridge wells. I completed primary drawings in each location and developed them using different medias such as charcoal and inks and bleach. From location as a group, I also helped to create an installation that represented how the different locations made us feel which lead to more development drawings that helped me develop print ideas. I chose my more successful drawings and completed a cut through print that was then exposed onto a screen. I printed on fabrics such as velvet, silks and cottons using simple screen printing as well as devore and discharging.
