Process
This one started out as an after work study from a random painting in my reference folder a few months ago. I guess I was really tired that day and not really in the mood to study, so I ended up just doodling a robot face over the initial sketch. The next day, looking back at it, I actually thought the sketch could turn into something cool and decided to push it further.
Some more time passed and I finally got to a result I liked. I wanted her face to be the focal point of the illustration and have something unexpected hidden behind her human mask. The concept I came up with is this kind of "personality control panel" in obvious need of repair.
