"Damaged and worn, almost obsolete but still functioning - sounds familiar. What was once a thriving space station used for science and medicine, now old fighter pilots call it home when they have nowhere else to go. One day it will be decommissioned, like the rest of us, tossed away and forgotten like it never existed. Until the moment comes it will serve its purpose, or until it gets shot to hell and blown up... or we run out of booze. Why is it always the booze?!"
This was a revised version of an older work of mine. Wanted to see how I could improve it and to push it further than I was able to before.
