Form Space and Order

INDS 102 class - Form Space and Order, we had to design a musical folly.
Inspiration for this project had to surge from a song, and my choice was "The Energy Never Dies", by The Script.
The project needed three separate experiences, although it did not need to be separate rooms.
Inspiration images and three words for experiences
Layout of the experiences
When the user enters the folly, the first experience consisted on laying down in separate rooms, looking out the ceiling openings. This experience was for the user to reflect on how big our Universe is, but how every one of us can still impact it greatly as well. The second experience consisted of bringing people together. Each time a user contacted with a column, it would light up, and part of the song would start playing. This would motivate the rest of the users to touch all the columns at once. Once they were all being touched, the lights would go off and experience three would begin. The point of this exercise would be to reflect how humans all impact each other and are connected somehow even though it might not be clear obvious. The final experience consisted of spreading energy around. Once the lights were off, a projector in the room would start shining lights all around while the whole song starts playing. This is designed for adrenaline to rush through people’s bodies, and getting them in an energetic state before leaving
Outside view
Entrance to Experience One
Experience One, four separate chambers for viewing the sky through windows. Seating in the middle for people waiting for their turn.

Second area, where Experience Two and Three are lived. Doors can be closed to separate Experience One and Experience Two. Then the exit door can be closed for Experience Three.
