This particular piece was a promotional poster created for the American Society for Heart Health and Safety.
The goal was to decide on a healthy fruit or vegetable that is currently under marketed in the U.S. and then create a logo / mascot / campaign poster with a slogan in order to market it to a specific age group.
As shown on Image #2, the original line work was done traditionally using Ink on a Vellum Bristol Board Surface, and then textured and colored digitally. The logo designs / text were inked and colored digitally as well. (Image #3 shows a close up of the Logo)
