150+ year old Elm Slab. This tree was fell (Early 2000) in Downtown Chico Park. The natural form was maintained and preserved with a hand rubbed oil finish and contrasted with sandblasted steel base. The slab was found completely covered with layers of dirt at a recycling plant ready for mulching. Reclaimed and re-purposed for a conference table.
