Willamette 15
A brochure set was created for Willamette 15, an upscale apartment building in downtown Portland, Oregon in the Pearl District.
From an overarching theme of parallels, the two that were used in the brochure for this building were logic and instinct. Logic is most often associated with an individual’s mind, while instinct is most often associated with one’s heart. The best decisions are never made from depending wholly on one or the other. They are made when the two parallels converge. By using this concept of mind meeting heart, logic meeting instinct, and therefore, intellect meeting emotion, the atmosphere and type of community that Willamette 15 offers to its residents was defined. Willamette 15 was created to offer an environment that thrives on the combination of differences. Portland celebrates the weird and the wonderful, and Willamette 15 was made to be a hub of this culture that is so unique to the city.
