Wrigley's Extra — Social Media

For two years 27 were responsible for the creative for Wrigley’s Extra chewing gum’s social media channels. Working alongside marketing agency Amplify, we co-created content and produced all visual posts for their Facebook page. This included the introduction of a series of illustrated anthropomorphic gum and teeth people to be used in various posts.

The aim for these characters was to introduce a little more personality and cheekiness to the content, and they were designed in a way that allowed them to be flexible enough that we could respond quickly to any social trends or current events but still distinctive enough that they could just sit on their own. Their introducing showed a marked increase in engagement, particular with the key target demographic of 15 to 20 year olds.
