Hikerly serves to better improve the outdoor experience by aggregating trail information and connecting users to existing trail systems. Research found that people have difficulty locating trails near them. With Hikerly, users are able to better engage with the trail environment by locating trail information, saving their favorite trails, and tracking trails they’ve already hiked. The service exists as a mobile interface with a supporting environmental campaign to bring users into the Hikerly ecosystem.
