Digital Gift Bags' mission is to cut down event paper swag that often ends up in landfills.
The idea was launched at an event sponsored by 7x7 Magazine. I created their logo and wrote the tag line.
I designed and built web pages for a new car sharing start-up, Just Share It. I did not create the logo.
I composed the images using Photoshop.
This is another page I built for Just Share It, composed in Photoshop.
This is a comp for Just Share It's mobile app. I created six different icons using existing art.
This is the logo I designed and illustrated for Susty Girl, an organization that teaches young girls
about sustainability and gets them involved in community activities.
As part of the branding process, these are a couple of digital sketches I worked out for Susty Girl's website.
This project was for a non-profit which organized a fundraising run to benefit
a halfway house for women in San Francisco.
I created several ideas which were narrowed down to these two. The client chose the bottom one.
These are concepts for a non-profit re-branding project. The BC3 organization wanted to make their website more dynamic for members and more inviting to potential members visiting the site. My exploration of the numbers 1–5 represented the five core values of the organization. They opted to continue with their current site at the time.
I designed this cover for a local writer's book of poems. I used each poem title as an excuse to illustrate with typography.
A photographer I frequently work with wanted me to design a series of postcard mailers to promote his event photography. We collaborated on the strategy, photos and messaging.
Here, Pres. Bill Clinton was the speaker. Side one says "He gets the big picture."
Side two shows the ballroom audience for the speech with the line "So does Scott."
I wanted to show both Scott's images of the speaker (Kamala Harris) and the audience.
Side one says "Inspiring." Side two, "Inspired."
For this postcard, I selected candid shots Scott captured at a smaller event.
Side One says "No Pressure", side 2, "Really".

These are projects where I created big ideas for small companies using copy, illustration and type design.
