Atmospheric light
While smart light systems are found in more and more households, I wanted to develop a light based on naturalness. Digital devices such as smartphones, tablets and notebooks influence our everyday lives. What many people don‘t know: the blue light emitted by such devices is not only harmful to the eyes, it can also have a negative impact on sleep patterns.
I would like to offer an alternative, naturally solution.

Wood isn't just a renewable raw material, it is in its variety of different wood types also almost inexhaustibly versatile. These two designs follow the same principle: they are working with  translucency of different veneers. But they don't primarily prove their quality by their luminosity. More important is the color temperature, which the wood filters out of the bulb. In the evening a warm light source supports the human biorhythm and can counteract sleep disorders.

The design shown here is optimized for mass production. By using large radii, veneers of different types of wood can be installed. Thus generated moods are completely different.

The next pictures show a more extreme design. The radii are smaller. It is no longer possible to use every kind of wood. The lamp looks more massive.
The base and the lampshade are connected by magnets. After pushing the base into the lampshade, turn it 90 degrees clockwise.
Now you can pull it down to change the light bulb.
