Cardboard angel wings

I was inspired by freedom and elegance, but also the weight of the cardboard itself. It's as light as a feather, which made me think of wings, angel wings.

What i had chosen as my surroundings for these wings, was a glass hallway with a great view. By wearing the wings and looking outside, i wanted to create the feeling of being outside, while being inside. The wings themselves should make you feel free wherever you are, but the glass hallway empowered this feeling.

I started by making an harness with cut out wings, but later on decided to cut out each and every feather. This made the wings looks more realistic.

I made this project for a school assignment, but i recommend to make this for yourself.
