Art Deco inspired steamer chair.
This was for my Final Major Project at college, inspired by the 1930's cruise ships and the Art Deco era.
I wrote the brief, aimed at creating a piece of site specific furniture, with art deco ships in mind. Taking not only the shapes of the ships, but also the materials of the age, teak slats with a steel frame and structure in a 1930's Ivory.
