The Disney Resort Collection was pitched as a lifestyle brand inspired by the premium resorts of Walt Disney World. Each of the resorts has a different theme to inspire the collections, which include bedding, rugs, furniture, tabletop, and wall decor.
The following concepts are based on the Yacht Club, which has a nautical, traditional, cultured look with a worldly flair. Chinoiserie touches and treasures collected from around the world add a distinctive look.
I created the patterns and art, but art directed a freelance product designer to develop the furniture, and our licensees, who helped develop the tabletop and decor pieces.
