These are the initial sketches that I did for the panda character. Classmates suggested that it be the character for a kids hipster clothing line. I was messing with bodies and just head shapes. 

Then I decided to go with only the head. In this one I was trying to play with line width and different things for his head. I only worked with my best three sketches.

After I went into illustrator and started playing around with color I realized that I a panda was too boring so I switched to a bear wearing a sort of beanie. I also felt that a thick stroke went with the hipster style and the same for the color.

After I had my design I went into Photoshop to put on a mock-up to have a more professional presentation.
