A word in French defined as rare and exotic, which best describes the main idea of this book. I want to draw a book that is out of the world, bizarre, anything stupendous that elevates beyond your imagination. This is how Recherché is inaugurated.

This book covers 10 of the most “recherché”, extraordinary funerals across the globe. Funerals are something viewed as sad and dull to many, but I imagine it otherwise.

Walk on a journey with me to explore the world’s most unique and astonishing funerals that were once practiced or an undying culture on a whole new level, through the artboard of the artists.
