I love and play the ukulele and designed this pouch inspired by my ukulele collection. It was to be an hyper lush design, and to add sensualness I thought it would be fun to add a hula girl. I wanted to give this design a vintage 1920 Art Nouveau flavor and looked for inspiration from art of that era. A painting from Henri Rousseau of a ukulele player on a tiger inspired me to put the hula girl on a flamingo with a lush jungle background. He's probably one of my favorite painters!
