The illustration Mix di Sapori was one of the six chosen – second place – to be printed on plates of the collection My Italian Cuisine, launched in 2016 by Spoleto, an italian restaurant franchise from Brazil. The illustrated plates were sold throughout Brazil and in some Spoleto franchises in the United States.The juries first chose 20 finalists from more than 500 competitors, and out of those 20, 6 winners were elected by popular vote.
The main inspirations to design Mix di Sapori are the length of the spaghetti and the curves formedby that pasta. Mixed with the pasta, the ingredients are highlighted in another color.
