Home to the first Whole Foods Market in North Orange County, CA, the Village at La Floresta was a highly anticipated addition to its City of Brea community. As part of its approval, the City required that, upon opening, the center host events and activities on a regular basis. The center's grand opening, in April 2016, set the stage for the future of events at this center with a vibrant splash. 

The Village at La Floresta grand opening event - called "La Floresta In Full Bloom" -  brought the brand to life in a colorful, arts-inspired celebration for the local community. The traditional ribbon cutting ceremony became a garland cutting ceremony, in keeping with the La Floresta theme. The event even attracted sponsorship interest from local businesses outside the center, including a Tesla dealership, whose presence added to the experience and supported the center's eco-conscious aesthetic.
