UEFA Euro 2016 Player Barometer

We recently teamed with UEFA to deliver a new level of player / fan engagement for Euro 2016.

The Player Barometer campaign was designed to take the huge amounts of player data tracked during every Euro match and turn it into exciting insights fans could easily interact with. By turning these statistics into stories, sports reporters could also generate original articles based on the new data.
“It’s an established idea that football fans are interested in stats, but with this project we wanted to see how far we could push real-time player performance data in an accessible way. Stats are by nature incredibly overwhelming – UEFA wanted them to be digestible by fans at every level. We approached this project with a focus on humanising the data for everyone, creating stories out of statistics.” - Max Gadney, founder and director
