I had been asked to create a poster design for a showcase show for the newest signing to Olive Grove Records, The State Broadcasters. I had been shown some rough artwork that was being used for an up coming video that included a man dressed as a moth trying to find love and was asked it if i could somehow incorporate that into the design.
I reworked some of the moth-man designs and added a moth mask to give it more of monster movie feel. The idea of him finding love in inanimate objects and attaching himself to giant broadcast tower a la 'Mothra' seemed to fit in with the State Broadcasters name.

The band and their label were so happy with the designs that they then went and asked if I could re-work the image to be a T-shirt design in 2 colours for them to use. The first is for use on a light colour t-shirt and another for a dark colour of shirt.
There will also be another series of designs using the same moth man character in various failed love attempts to go on further T-shirts.
