These are snippets of images captured from my home, other places and online images to explain the notion of aging materiality from day 0 to 50 years down in a projected timeline.
Personal Perception of Domestic Living

I would like inhabitants to live in an impermanent space and gain acceptance in the experience of materials being aged. I see it as aesthetic feature in space. We must rid of timeless materials; let bare and exposed materials be a platform and a media to tell a story through time which ages along us. Embed subconscious traces and "drawings" of our daily routines and surroundings which include natural elements that form a layer of patina to signify traces.

In the next few pages, presents fundamental research and short documentation as well as demonstrating the exploration of materiality in conceptual models and experiments. 
Furniture designed shifted around the interior encourages markings and traces which represents the existence of time. 

The idea of table legs, dragging on the ground in different materials represents traces of time (aging), giving a sense of presence in space.

A simple design of a chair with memory foam, shapes overtime to constant uses result to wear and tear in leather upholstery.
