Seeing beauty in the Grand Canyon

In this project, we were asked to select from several images and use information provided to promote the Grand Canyon. At first, finding placement, font types and contrast that will provide meaning, became a challenge. In the end, I believed that I was able to create great designs that satisfy all of the challenges.
This is my initial design for this image. I chose to use shadows in the title to ensure that the text do not get lost in the image.
On the revision, I chose to alter the positions of the title and the information  which gave the design a better look. Now the viewers can see the beauty in the image without being lost with text.
In this design, I wanted to give the image an old western, but modern look. After completing the initial design,I felt that the design did not engage the viewers like I anticipated.
After making changes to the font and location of the text. This is my final design for this image. I kept the western look and enlarged the information to provide a impact to the image.
With this image, I chose to be patriotic by using red, white, and blue with the color scheme. After completing the design, I was unsatisfied with the design.
In this design, I altered the locations so the viewers can see the beautiful view of the Grand Canyon. The color of the font is more of a natural color that I feel sit well in the design.
