Color is used to depict emotion. I used soft, bright colors to depict the soft adoration I have for my little sister, Hannah. Striving to set a good example as her role model has forced me to become a person I am proud to be. In this particular pose, she looks up to me as her big sister when it is really me who looks up to her.
By examining the different midtones of a black and white image, I created the colorful tones for this image. After cutting out each tone, I layered them starting with the darkest on the bottom, and brightest on the top.
