EN - The collection consists in seven different objects that are related to the process of bookbinding: bone folder, cutting knife, cutting mat, linen thread, ruler, scratch awl and wooden stamps. The idea was to have some objects that are essential when creating their own books. However, it was also important to have at least one that was just to creating some ornaments after the manual process. In this way, the creators could put their own personality in the final product.
PT - Esta coleção consiste em sete objetos diferentes que estão relacionados com o processo de encardenação: dobrador de osso, estilete de precisão, mesa de corte, linha, régua, agulhão e carimbos de madeira. A ideia foi ter objetos que são essenciais para criar o próprio livro encardenado. Contudo, também era importante ter pelo menos um objeto para apenas adicionar alguns ornamentos depois do processo manual. Neste caso, o consumidor poderia adicionar a sua personalidade no produto final.
EN - Project developed for my Package Design class at SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design). The letters in the backgrounds were made by myself with an Elegant Writer pen.
The brand used (Folk Art) already exists and does not have a commercial relation with this project, being used only to show how to apply a logo in the composition.
