My concept is based on the kaleidoscope, where it symbolizes the different fragments and facets that make up a character. It also foretells the difficulties in achieving the goals in life. In a way, the bits of glasses in the kaleidoscope that tumble in and out represents the different side of the main character. However, the tumbling of the little pieces into places in the end forms a magnificent pattern, which in a way relates to the movie, whereby despite of all the tumbling and falling, despite of all the conflicts and the constantly changing phases that the character is facing, the performance in the end is still a wonderful success.
Just like how we admire the patterns in a kaleidoscope, my aim is to create something beautiful in the end. The patterns were inspired from the bits of glasses in the kaleidoscope, instead of making them harmonious and in a balanced proportion, I expanded the patterns into a more shattered form, where sharp edges and accented strokes are placed, to show the pressures, jealousy, desires, and obsessions that the character is hiding.

The colors of the patterns are made up of shades of purple. As a combination of red and blue; the warmest and the coolest colors; purple has been used to symbolize envy, sensuality, confusion, and delicacy.

The chosen typeface, Accent, is inspired from the fine points followed by the elegant lines of a ballerina. The typeface is altered by overlapping three faces of the same size, but in different opacities and in a slightly different position, to create a delusion like effect, portraying the mental pressures that the character is facing.
