Some people think Business-to-Business ads are a bit dull but this design project by Jotun Powder Coatings begs to differ. Jotun has developed an innovative powder coating that gives aluminium the look of real wood. It's just perfect for architectural designs that need to be maintenance-free and withstand the harshest climates. To convince architects of the remarkably lifelike aesthetics, Jotun wanted to go beyond the usual brochure with colour swatches. They challenged a fabricator to build a sauna made entirely from aluminium. The result turned out to be a stunningly realistic looking cabin but also led to another challenge: do you need a stove to heat an aluminium sauna? Jotun headed to the hottest place on earth to find out with the help of two sauna experts; a Swede and a Norwegian.
