Eddy Taylor's profile

FEATURE FILM PROPS

I have spent the last 10 years in Props learning an absolute massive variety of skills with an amazing crew. Including, carpentry, metal work, jewellery, moulding and casting, spray painting, model making, electronics and my strongest skills  are scenic and sculpture.

My IMDB page shows the projects I've work on with the Props Department.

Below are just a few samples of my favourite pieces of work.
Enjoy.
GODS OF EGYPT 2016 - Directed by Alex Proyas

-Sets Sceptre-

Gods of Egypt was quite a heavy weapon film. I was fortunate enough to get the job of sculpting the Main Villains Weapon. We also made jewellery, chariots, furniture, charting equipment, braziers and sculptures.

Here's a little example of Sets Sceptre in action.
THE WOLVERINE 2013 - Directed by James Mangold

-The Silver Samurai-

The Silver Samurai is the perfect example of what I good team can achieve together. There were over 600 pieces either rapid prototyped or hand sculpted. Each piece went through numerous grades of Wet and Dry, electroplated and then assembled onto a articulated armature.

Fool's Gold 2008- Directed by Andy Tennant

-Coral Reef-

Having just completed High School I was thrown into the deep end (pardon the pun). We had made over 6000 pieces of coral, filling a underwater set the size of an olympic swimming pool.
Other props we made in this department were objects like cannons, treasure, swords, and a half scale boat that gets blown up and sunk.
