Nkundwe Kasyanju
With touch of edge and more reference to sophistication, this project features my Senior Collection done during my senior year at the Savannah College of Art and Design. My inspiration crept in after I came across an amazing shot of a deconstructed structure - building stripped of its entire front wall. It was like looking into a doll house. The collection then took on its own identity: that of a strong fearless young woman. I followed by incorporating a new found admiration for lazer cutting (seen on the leather some of the garments). The clothes are mostly a combination of leathers and various wools.
