PROJ MGMT + RIGGING + UI - Symphony of Sands

Symphony of Sands
Symphony of Sands was a game created at SCAD as a senior group collaborative project over the course of three quarters. I was in charge of project management and character rigging.

As project manager, I oversaw each aspect of the game development process and wore many hats to assist wherever necessary. My responsibilities included delegating tasks, creating schedules and acting as an intermediary between the design, art, and programming teams. I utilized the scrum approach to project management, which was vital to our game's completion.

As character rigger, I set up and weight painted each character in the game. Because of the characters' size relative to the screen, extremely simple rigs were used.

I also designed the user interface for Symphony of Sands.

The final Red, Blue, and Green meters have dual functions. The triangle shows the player's ability cooldown; different segments light up as the ability readies itself. The bar indicates the player's remaining health. The bars' transparency allows for the utilization of Unity's slider UI function to represent health.
