Great Connectors Dioramas

Great Connectors Dioramas
Experimental Metal Print Dioramas
Designed by architects, built by engineers, used by all; bridges are the great connectors of our culture. They unite the urban mythos and tie people together by way of steel and concrete. They are the veins of modern society, constantly pumping with the action of everyday life. They are beautiful and elegant in both utility and presence.

They are multi-functional, powerful, and universally recognizable.

This series of photographs has always been one of my favorites to work with because it perfectly combines my passion for architecture and photography. In this collection of dioramas I wanted to expand upon that combination of passions. In order to create these pieces I used my skills in model making that I have learned through years of architecture school and combined those with my skills in experimental printing that I have learned through my education in photography. The result were these metal print dioramas.
