I was challenged to develop a project that extended the concept of user interaction beyond the mouse/ keyboard. 

 

I created Love - A - Bear,  a sensor-based interface that users could interact with. Love-A-Bear is a based around the concept of having a teddy bear with a heart. When the user is next to the teddy his heart glows big and pink, but will slowly shrink and turn blue as the user distances themselves. 

 

I created this project using an Arduino Uno Board, an LED light matrix and an ultra-sonic sensor.
