Balloons Over Broadway Picture Book Design
Balloons Over Broadway tells the story of Tony Sarg, the inspired puppeteer who created the Macy's Thanksgiving parade balloons. I collaborated with the book's illustrator and author, Melissa Sweet, from the outset of the project to edit art, pair art and typography, conceptualize cover directions, discuss art direction, manage the project schedule, and edit color reproduction.
