Cover for The Tōkyōiter project.

My version of the cover for The Tōkyōiter project. I wanted to picture something iconically Tokyo for the cover image, but without making it look cheap. I remembered how the Tokyo Skytree filled up almost all the sky when I was taking a walk there from Asakusa. After some location hunting in the scorching sun I found a perfect shot of the tower and a small street with interesting buildings to match. An old lady watering her plans with her grandson where the perfect accent I needed for my Tokyo scene - old and new in harmony.

Technical stuff:
- Medium: HOLBEIN Waterford white 300g/m cotton paper
- Lines: COPIC Multiliner SP 0.7mm and 0.1mm

- Colours: My Winsor&Newton, Schmincke watercolour set
