My metalwork is unique because it blends conceptual art with wearability.  My enameled shapes were born as line drawings of deteriorating textiles.  They are abstract, but people are reminded of different things when they look at each one--a bird, a heart, sharks teeth, islands, etc.  My color palette is inspired by the natural patina that happens to copper as it ages.  These pieces are like a memento mori, but they are elegant enough to be worn as daily jewelry. The shapes are named individually after planets.
