John and Josh's parents passed away when Josh was just 12. And John took care of Josh at their home since then.

Anne and John ate dinner, finished up their chores and went to bed.That night John reflected, he thought, "It was a very hard year with the harvest low. Both Anne and I had to work very hard to make it by". Then his thoughts turned to his brother I wonder how Josh is doing, he is by himself work hard on the land while I have Anne to help. He must not have enough for himself".

At Josh's house, Josh was tending to his chores as he thought to himself. "It was a very hard year and I had to work hard just so have enough and I only have myself to take care of. But My brother John has to take care of Anne and their future children. They must not have enough for themself".
With that Josh grabbed a basket and filled with food that he worked so hard to grow.
In the middle of the night. John, carrying the basket on his back, walked to his brother's house. Josh, also with his basket on his shoulder, walked to his brother's house. As each brother got farther and farther from their houses. they could see a figure in the distance getting closer and closer until the figure come in view.
John saw Josh with his basket on his shoulder and Josh saw John with his basket on his back. As they saw each other, there was a silent and the brothers looked at each other, smiled, and gave each other a warm long hug.
