The Cicada Effect is a clutch bag inspired by the famous Provençal cicadas and their effect when they lay their larvae on trees. Their symbolic meaning of rebirth and movement is depicted in the organic path moving throughout the bag. The hand-embroidered texture, using natural colors local from Provence, represent the abstraction of the insect’s metamorphosis from nymphs to fully-grown cicadas.
